Who Is Rose Goddess?

Hi! My name is Debbie Pierce (also known as Rose Goddess). Welcome to my blog. Welcome to my journey. Welcome to my search for truth, my quest for radiant health and beauty, and my desire to raise children of light and love. Come hang out with me as I share my growth, my insights and discoveries, and my life adventures. You can expect me to blog about subjects near and dear to my heart such as…

*WILD HEALTH: Recipes and information on how to thrive on a nutritionally dense, high wild food, superfood, and raw food diet!

*NATURAL PARENTING: Motherhood is an art, a calling, and the most important thing we will ever do! Let’s raise confident, loving, grounded, beautiful, healthy, magical, God like children!

*BLISSFUL LIVING: Meditation, yoga, enlightenment, inspiration, law of attraction, love, travel, adventure, and living life with passion… these are a few of my favorite things!!

And behind all this, behind my interest in health, natural parenting, and blissful living lies something deeper…

Yup! That just about sums it up! The reason for my drive to live a healthier and more positive life is to realize my oneness with my creator…. To feel the bliss of knowing his/her love… To co-create with him/her… Nothing can compare with it!!

A little about me. I was born in Dallas Texas in December of 1982. A very enthusiastic and sensitive child. When I was 5 years old I moved to Florida. I lived in both Homestead (before the hurricane) and Tampa.  I have many fond memories there.  In Homestead we had an avocado orchard near our home and my dog Taffy would go and pick them and eat them.  I remember going to the beach and Disney World a lot with my family.  My mother fed us a Fit for Life Diet.  This was a time of health and thrival for me.  Then, my parents divorced when I was 10 years old and I moved to Utah with my mother.   In the next several years I moved back and forth from Texas to Utah between Mom, Dad, Aunt, Mom, Dad, whoever was willing and able to take care of me.

In High School my main subject of study was boys. I had many guy friends and a handful of serious relationships.  After I graduated from High School in Utah, I moved back to Texas and studied massage therapy. I graduated from “Hands on Approach” in 2001.  I did massage work (Spas and Hair Salons) and retail jobs (Walmart and Victoria’s Secret) until I married my husband in 2004. By then I was depressed and burned out by the world . . . wondering if this was really all there was to life.

After I married, I took a little break from people, from work, etc. I became a hermit and really went inside. During this time of reflection I was able to do some serious growth in all areas of my life. I discovered I could create my own version of life.  I started consuming a raw food diet (about 90%) and became an entrepreneur (working when and how I desired). I started to travel a lot and learned to be true to myself and my passions.  I took up yoga and meditation.  I am very grateful for this time of reflection. Today I continue to learn and grow.  I continue to experience the magic of life, researching old and new success technology.  I am continually creating and re-creating myself and my reality . . . and enjoying my BEST DAY EVER, every day!!

I have had many breakthroughs since initially dissolving my depression in 2005. Each time something less than love, light, and enthusiasm comes up for me, I look on it as an opportunity for growth. For example, one of my most spiritual experiences came after my father passed away in 2007. Time and time again, I discover when I am at my lowest point, I rise again with more clarity, joy and enthusiasm for life! This has taught me never to give up on my dreams…

One such growing experience came as my journey into motherhood. Believe it or not, I used to be terrified at the thought of becoming a mother, not only because of the massive amount of work I thought it would involve, but also of the whole pregnancy and birth experience, along with bringing a child into this world with no ideal on how to make him happy. At the same time I felt pressure to become a mom, like it was expected of me and something I just had to do. Luckily, I held out until I was truly ready. I first “mothered myself” the way I would have liked to be mothered. I put hours and hours of thought and study into how I would interact with and raise my own children. I gave myself the fun “childhood” I desired. I played and danced and traveled and allowed myself to feel the joy of living again. And finally, when my children came to me and told me I was ready, I consciously conceived my son! I was healthy and strong. Pregnancy and birth were easy. And I had more than enough resources, energy, and desire to love and care for my baby. I had turned my biggest fear into my greatest strength!! You can read my birth story here. Now I look forward to watching the next generation of “crystal children” grow. I am so excited to see these precious beings of light bring in a new vibration of love and laughter on our planet. Every day I pray I will be guided to think, say, and do the things that will allow my children to express their full potential and achieve their divine mission! This, I believe, is my divine mission:)
