I just got back from a wonderful vacation in Miami with my girlfriends! I walked on the beach, swam in the ocean, drank coconut water, partied in the evening, and even got to do a “dolphin encounter” at Miami Seaquarium (I have been desiring to play with dolphins for a while!). While in Miami I recorded this video on the Water Element…
Many people, when they consider drinking their water straight from the ground feel fear about consuming harmful bacteria and pathogens. This may be true if you were to drink water from a lake or river, but while drinking water straight from the source you will not find anything more pure. Spring water is created by water seeping down into the earth, way down, until it reaches what is called an aquifer or an underground lake. This water may stay there for thousands of years, restructuring itself and absorbing the advanced information earth provides, until it is ready to come back to the surface. On its way up it is completely purified. The earth is the most advanced water filter in existence! In fact, many water filters learn their technology from how the earth purifies water. Water that is coming to the surface from these aquifers are sometimes several thousand years old, meaning it has not been around to be polluted by modern day technology (chemicals, explosives, poisonous sprays, etc.) This is another reason why spring water is the best drinking water available!
How To Test Your Spring Water:
Look for the following characteristics…
1. Temperature. 4 degrees Celsius is the purest temperature for water. Cold water is quality water. Harmful organisms can’t really grow in cold water. This is why we refrigerate our food to preserve our food.
2. Total Dissolved Solids. You can purchase a TDS meter to test the mineral content in your water. Anywhere between 9 and 50 TDS is really good water. The more minerals your water has the more hard the water is and the less hydrating it becomes.
3. PH. Water that is between 6.8-7.2 ph is the best. You want to have a very neutral ph water because our bloodstream is also close to neutral.
4. Pressure. The more pressure the water has the more vitality it possesses. Strong flow insures your spring water is coming from a full aquifer.
5. Chemical Content. Most of the time spring water is free of chemicals but you may desire to chemically test your water to insure quality.
6. History. Talk to the people who are already using this spring. Does your spring have any history or lore? If people have been using it for a long time you can be sure it is safe!

Check out my fun adventure on Maui…
The road to Hanna was awesome! We actually made it all the way to Hanna this time. Last time we only made it to the black sand beach before it was dark and we had to turn around. Maui has some amazing Hawaii Waterfalls! We did some fun hiking and I was also able to swim along side a sea turtle in a small Hawaii bay by my hotel!!! They are such beautiful creatures and so gentle:) I feel so connected to Maui. It is truly my HOME AWAY From HOME.

Exploring Kilauea on the Big Island of Hawaii
by Rose Goddess on Jul.29, 2009, under Travel and Adventure
“Volcanoes are one way Earth gives birth to itself.” ~Robert Gross
What a strange feeling I had when exploring Kilauea on the Big Island of Hawaii. I felt the deep, dark wisdom of mother earth. I was taught the importance of embracing all parts of myself. The Earth has dark, cold places, and so do I. And yet, eventually her fierce eruptions and smoke creates a beautiful, fertile island. Similarly, out of the muck and mud in our life we can rise to even greater heights than we thought possiblbe…
“We are volcanoes. When we women offer our experience as our truth, as human truth, all the maps change. There are new mountains.” ~Ursula K. LeGuin

Tennessee adventures and Lemonade Fast Day 10
by Rose Goddess on Jul.19, 2009, under Life & Food, Travel and Adventure
Today is day 10 of my Master Cleanse and I have been playing in and exploring Tennessee… We went into a huge underground cave and took a glass bottom boat ride on the largest underground lake in the USA! Then we went on a beautiful scenic drive, played in the Tellico river, and took a hike near the majestic Bald River waterfall! I had my big glass of lemonade with me and several people asked me if it was moonshine:). I went to Applebees with my family and took my jug of lemonade in with me . . . I think it’s a little amusing to my family, and the waiters, when I take my own food into a restaurant:) (as an interesting side note, my sister told me my body odor smells like food. I have been told this before and have noticed it myself. Has any other raw foodist experienced this chemical change in their body?)
I feel so grateful for today! It was a refreshing time to reconnect with nature and renew my enthusiasm for life! Tomorrow I have a beautiful drive back to Dallas.

Horse Back Riding in Hawaii

“There is no secret so close as that between a rider and his horse.” -R.S. Surtees
I am finally editing and uploading my Hawaii videos:) Horse back riding in Hawaii was so much fun!! It might have been my favorite part…
If you ever find yourself on the Big Island of Hawaii, check out Kings Trail Rides. They will take you to a lovely bay which is not well known or used, therefor the water is super clear and pristine. Plus, if you are an exotic fruit lover like me, there are plenty of Noni trees:)

Ojai, California – Breath of Love Facilitation Course
by Rose Goddess on May.21, 2009, under Travel and Adventure
The first time I went to California was for this Breath of Love workshop. I finally know what the hype is all about. California has everything… Ocean, Mountains, Dessert, Fresh Grown Food and Perfect Weather! I fully enjoyed soaking up this beautiful environment while I was transforming through my breath…
Breath of Love is a type of Connected Rebirthing Breath. When you breathe in you breathe in as deep and full as possible… representing how much you are willing to take in from life. When you breathe out it is effortless and quick. You never force your exhale, you just let your breath go… representing how much you trust that you are taken care of by God and the Universe. You always keep your breath flowing and connected. This is the way babies, dogs and many other animals breathe. Breath of Love is one of the most powerful techniques I have come across for inner clarity, joy and transformation.
